Junior Santos native of Belo Horizonte, Brazil, professional football career was lanched at the age of 18 by the club América Mineiro. He then furthered his career by playing for Fluminense, Ituano, Guarany, Nautico, FC Bellmare Hiratsuka in Japan and FC Tokyo.
In 2002, he embarked as a trainer with Yverdon Sport in Switzerland. Commencing as an attending in 2nd division, the club was promoted the same year to 1st division. Afterwhich he was Head Coach for Yverdon Sport and Team Vaud Elite for teams: U21, U16, U14 and U15.
In 2010 he trained the FC Dubai Sport Cultural club which he successfully saved from banishment.
Junior Santos holds to his advantage the A-UEFA diploma. He is passionate for football, with a large international experience, a perfectionist who works with European training methods and particularly enjoys working tactical strategies.
He is dynamic with an exceptional ability to train and manage. He resides in Switzerland with his family, holding dual nationality Brazil and Swiss.
